I have written in the past about how outrageous it is for companies to impose minimum payouts on their affiliates. Its simply an unfair practice.
There is one sponsor out there that just recently switched to this system. They have a minimum payout of 100$ assuming thats reasonable. Here is the catch.
Every pay period processing fees are deducted + a 1.50$ handling fee. This outfit has always had this fee for checks mailed via regular mail.
But this fee is applied every pay period and they dont mail unless you have amassed at least 100$ do you see how this works out?
Say you only do 15$ a period it will take you 7 periods to actually get a check cut and sent to you, however you will have to take deductions of 7 x 1.50$ or 10.50$ for shipping and handling!
So goes the New World Order of adult affiliate programs. . .
